Overview
Kool HQ Waverley Holiday Program offers an exceptional experience for primary school aged children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The program is open to everyone and is conveniently located in the Waverley hub.
The program curriculum is centered around the interests of the children and is inspired by the “My Time, Our Place” framework. We provide high-quality care with a strong emphasis on children’s well-being. We strive to offer a balanced mix of activities to keep all participants engaged and happy throughout the program, with all activities taking place on-site.

Our outstanding facilities include three spacious classrooms, a large outdoor area with astro turf, outdoor seating for meals and play, an indoor and uncovered basketball court, and a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking activities. Led by qualified educators, with an experienced coordinator and educational leader, we provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment with a 1:10 educator-to-child ratio.
Children can stay with friends or relatives if they wish and are typically divided into age groups to suit the activities to their developmental level:
- Blue: Kindergarten & Year 1
- Green: Year 2 & 3
- Yellow: Year 4, 5 & 6
Camp Highlights: Every Wednesday, children dive into the excitement of our Game Zone, while Friday brings the much-loved Market Day, perfect for trading and teamwork! Each day is unique, with six engaging workshops to choose from, and an exciting theme that ties it all together.

Children enjoy morning and afternoon tea with seasonal fruits, crackers, and bikkies, and healthy snacks are available from our canteen. Parents are required to provide a healthy lunch. Child Care Subsidy is available for eligible families.

NORTH POLE PARTY
Monday, 7 April
Jump into our North Pole Party with a boom chika boom and get into a fun game of dodgeball! Create your own mini Eskimo with mixed materials, then show us your loom band or beading skills with friends. Dance on into a winter dance party and showcase your moves and more in the Kool HQ Talent Show!

Tuesday, 8 April
What are Blaze Pods, you ask?!? Find out here! The newest craze for active, tech-based games that make you move and groove while playing your favourite sporting games. Chill out with delicious frozen yogurt treats. Enjoy group band dancing and create your very own hat with various gemstones. The fun doesn’t stop with a disco party and karaoke to wrap up the day!

Wednesday, 9 April
A snow festival of creative experiences, LET’S GO! Start with a basketball tournament, then move into charades and dance card games. Make snowflake garlands and try origami for the older ones. Create snow from scratch in STEM and then it’s GAME TIME for Arcadia – win games, earn tokens, and cash in for prizes!
COUNTRY ADVENTURES
Thursday, 10 April
Let’s celebrate NAIDOC Week with activities that connect us to our country. Explore athletic games, Indigenous painting, and clay woven pots for the older children! Dance and participate in dreamtime story dancing. Enjoy making delicious s’mores and get an up-close experience with one of our emergency service departments.

Friday, 11 April
Warm up with Blaze Pods and walk down to Discovery to connect with nature through a Nature Bingo experience. Create market day posters for the upcoming Market Day, where children buy, swap, and sell preloved goodies from home, learning to be real entrepreneurs – check out the website for more info on what to bring!
SCIENCE MOUNTAIN
Monday, 14 April
All about Science and STEM with a snowy twist! Discover what a glacier is in the snowy mountains and create one with ice cream and natural resources. Design a portrait with mixed art materials in a wintery, snowy theme. Watch exploding snowmen that will blow your mind! Top it off with a robotic incursion from RoboHouse!
CHILLY CELEBRATIONS
Tuesday, 15 April
Blaze pod sport fun to warm up our bodies! Then warm our stomachs with delicious Choc Chinos. Wind down with a Yoga Mindfulness experience and enjoy a therapeutic Watercolour Mural. Show time ready at Kool HQ Talent Show!

Wednesday, 16 April
Win Olympic Medal Games for sport and try your best to place! Boogie down in Spotlight Dance and get ready to build your game design for the amazing GAME TIME Arcadia Day! Fun for everyone – play, score, and take home a prize!
PJ MOVIE FAIR
Thursday, 17 April
Today’s colourful program includes soccer and ball games for the sports stars, winter murals for the artists, veg pizza scrolls for the chefs, and Dance Switch for the groovers! To end this fabulous day, we have our very own Kool HQ Cinema experience on site.
FROZEN MARKETS
Friday, 18 April
On the agenda today – physical activity meets tech! A new, fun, and innovative way to get active. Fees
All our services are Child Care Subsidy approved, which can reduce the cost of our programs by up to 90%. Our fees start as low as $13.62 with max CCS rebate. Check out our Fee Estimator to calculate your out-of-pocket fees.

- Free enrolment and administration of any child care subsidy
