Overview
Kool HQ Waverley Holiday Program offers an exceptional experience for primary school aged children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The program is open to everyone and is conveniently located in the Waverley hub.
The program curriculum is centered around the interests of the children and is inspired by the “My Time, Our Place” framework. We provide high-quality care with a strong emphasis on children’s well-being. We strive to offer a balanced mix of activities to keep all participants engaged and happy throughout the program, with all activities taking place on-site.

Our outstanding facilities include three spacious classrooms, a large outdoor area with astro turf, outdoor seating for meals and play, an indoor and uncovered basketball court, and a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking activities. Led by qualified educators, with an experienced coordinator and educational leader, we provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment with a 1:10 educator-to-child ratio.
Children can stay with friends or relatives if they wish and are typically divided into age groups to suit the activities to their developmental level:
- Blue: Kindergarten & Year 1
- Green: Year 2 & 3
- Yellow: Year 4, 5 & 6
Camp Highlights: Every Wednesday, children dive into the excitement of our Game Zone, while Friday brings the much-loved Market Day, perfect for trading and teamwork! Each day is unique, with six engaging workshops to choose from, and an exciting theme that ties it all together.

Children enjoy morning and afternoon tea with seasonal fruits, crackers, and bikkies, and healthy snacks are available from our canteen. Parents are required to provide a healthy lunch. Child Care Subsidy is available for eligible families.

SCIENCE STARS
Monday, 14 April
Let’s get this STEM party started! With a handball competition to jump into action, we then delve into the science world where Elephant Toothpaste takes the lead. Onto Invisible Ink to test your transparency skills. Enjoy the peace of nature and create Grass Heads. Finally, a Kool HQ Talent Show, where all children can participate as an entertainer or an audience member!

Tuesday, 15 April
\Journey with us to countries near and far and immerse ourselves in culture. Mini Olympics will fill our sports cravings with active fun and play stations. Taste your way into a Veg Nachos meal and feel the music with a series of Cultural Dance. Rock Art in nature, and get ready to boogie on down with an incursion DJ Dance Party!
ROBOTICS
Wednesday, 16 April
Build and program a robot using lights, sensors, and motors. Children will work in pairs to build and program real robots and experience the excitement of robotics! Our robotics kits will keep children engaged from beginner to advanced. This workshop uses a pen-and-card-based programming system, so no computers are required. We will also have a Cereal Buffet for cooking and our Arcadia Creations in Art to set up the afternoon with Arcadia Time!
MARKET DAY BONANZA
Thursday, 17 April
Market Day—ready, set, go! Athletic races set the pace, then create your best-selling Market Day posters or business cards to present at your stall! Circus around with juggling equipment and dress-ups to get warmed up for the one and only Market Day! Buy, swap, and sell your preloved goodies from home and check the website for ideas on what to bring.
PJ MOVIE DAY
Tuesday, 22 April
Dress up in your most comfy PJ’s or just roll out of bed and come on down to strut your stuff on the PJ catwalk! Basketball on the courts to begin with, then wet your whistle with Popcorn Choice of Toppings. Chill out with some Sunshine Yoga. A relaxed yet creative Clay Sculpture Workshop will take place before the Kool HQ Cinema Experience!
EASTER HOP
Wednesday, 23 April
Today is all about Easter fun and games! Starting with a super exciting Easter Bunny Hop game! Dance with a Boogie Down Bunny activity and create a special Bunny Collage. The moment you have all been waiting for…. The Easter Treasure Hunt is not one to miss! Entertainers and audience ready for our inaugural Talent Show!
MARKET THRILLS
Thursday, 24 April
Last day but definitely not the least! We have a Station Carnival with all your favourite team games and sport station play. Onto making Market Day signs for your stalls, and let your body speak music and enjoy some dancing games! Market Day is ready for buying, selling, swapping, and bargaining with your friends to get the best deals!

All our services are Child Care Subsidy approved, which can reduce the cost of our programs by up to 90%. Our fees start as low as $13.62 with max CCS rebate. Check out our Fee Estimator to calculate your out-of-pocket fees.

- Free enrolment and administration of any child care subsidy
